The prototypes of MC-21 and SSJ-100 aircrafts by PJSC «Yakovlev» received a new livery in accordance with the current corporate identity of the United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec State Corporation). The livery is designed in easily recognizable white and blue colors. It is distinguished by the use of Russian-made paints. The new livery will be standard for all UAC’s civil aircraft prototypes but the flagships in short and medium haul aviation, SSJ-100 and MC-21, have been the first to receive it. The aircrafts with this livery will form a single product line: UAC – Civil Aircraft. These aircrafts will become the backbone of Russian airlines fleet in the future.
S7 Airlines
The livery «Malyar»
For the first time the aircraft was used as a space for the creativity of a street artist in 2021. S7 Airlines and the Museum of Street Art have created an exclusive livery for the Airbus A320. The liner is almost completely white unlike the entire fleet of S7 Airlines. The usual bright green colour appears only on the tail. According to the plot: meantime a painter is creating the masterpiece, another artist has him caught in the camera «by accident». The color white means a blank slate, symbolizing a new beginning or a fresh start.The sketch of the livery was created in collaboration with street artist Ivan Simonov, as continuation of his series of works #littlepeople. Ivan photographs people who literally remain behind the scenes. He creates collages in the urban space.
The livery « Flight mode»
Another almost completely white airliner appeared in the S7 Airlines fleet in 2023. The bright green color appears as the inscription «Flight mode» and the mode toggle symbol on the mobile. For the first time S7 Airlines used the lower part of the fuselage for painting. The inscription «Flight mode» is visible when the plane takes off into the sky.
Emirates Airlines
The fundamental concept of the livery of Emirates, flag carrier airline of Dubai
It was developed by the British design bureau Negus & Negus in 1985. Afterwards, the airline's own specialists worked on it. Emirates introduced the third livery update in March 2023.The graphic items appear to be more conspicuous on the aircraft tail, symbolizing the UAE flag. The winglets are painted bright red, which contrasts with the logo. The logo is executed in white Arabic calligraphy. The UAE flag is observed by passengers on the inner side of winglets. The legendary golden inscription «Emirates» in English and Arabic on the fuselage has become more voluminous and 32.5% larger. The white and red labeling with the inscription «Emirates» in the lower part of the fuselage has been preserved in the new concept of the livery and still has been business card of the airline.
Expo 2020 «Be Part of the Magic»
Emirates, the Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai, has revealed a head-turning A380 livery dedicated to further carrying the global event’s messages worldwide. A bold departure from the airline’s traditional white and gold paint scheme, this bright blue aircraft livery features large-scale graphics in vivid green, orange, pink, purple and red, which run across the fuselage and all the way up to the tail and fin interlaced with the distinct ring-shaped Expo 2020 Dubai logo. Special ‘Dubai Expo’ and ‘Be Part of the Magic’ messages run across both sides of the A380 fuselage. The engine cowls also carry the Expo 2020 Dubai messages and dates of the event.

Cornflower of «Belavia» and new sense
Сornflower-blue livery of Belavia was 7 years in August of 2023. A new corporate identity of the Belarusian airline was presented in the summer of 2016. The main idea of the whole concept was cornflowers or "valoshki" (as they are called in Belarus). These flowers have been considered as a symbol of purity, hospitality for a long time. The cornflower was endowed with new meanings in Belavia. The flower center is Minsk National Airport, to which the aircrafts return. Petals are an image of directions where passengers can fly. A deep blue color provides harmony, a sense of security. Such atmosphere is created for the passengers in Belavia. Uzbekistan Airways is one of the first national air carriers that initiated the development of its own unique visual identity after the USSR collapse. In 1991 the airline presented their official livery. The official logo representing the Huma bird appeared soon after, taken from the Uzbekistan Republic coat of arms. The airline livery elements mimic the national flag’s layout, formed of three parallel horizontal stripes of sky-blue, white and green tones. Symbolism of Udmurtia on the aircraft's fuselage
Izhavia is an actively developing regional airline which is owned by the Government of the Udmurt Republic. The company provides passenger and cargo airfreight from Izhevsk airport. The traditional Udmurt symbol is preserved by «Izhavia» brand. It can contribute to reaching the targets: it positions the airline as a regional carrier and promotes the national images and culture. The aircraft livery was developed as part of the fleet renewal program in 2020. Specialists from the Center for Territorial Development of Udmurtia engaged in the creation of the Izhavia livery. The livery of the first aircraft in the new squadron is made in the colors of the republic national flag. Each colour has its own meaning: white means the sky, red - the world of people, black symbolizes the earth. The colours flow freely into each other, signifying rise from the ground to the sky. One of the main symbols is an eight-pointed solar sign. It’s depicted on the tail, winglets of the aircraft and the republic flag. Its name in the Udmurt language sounds "shudo kizili" (lucky star) or "tolezyo" (lunar maternal amulet). The eight-pointed star is an amulet as well as a sign of well-being, fertility, abundance. The plane has received the unofficial name "Star" thanks to it.The second in the new series of liveries was "The Soul of Udmurtia". Рurple was added to the red and white colours. The colour symbolizes magic among the Udmurts. The livery concept includes the unrealized "Italmas", which is named for the yellow flowers, mentioned in the legends, "Wings of Udmurtia" and "Sky of Udmurtia".
